Stoddart v Boulton and ACC – High Court allowed ACC leave to appeal against FFC decision that the common law privilege against spousal incrimination had not been abrogated by the ACC Act

The High Court has granted the Australian Crime Commission special leave to appeal against the decision of the Full Federal Court in Stoddart v Boulton and Australian Crime Commission [2010] FCAFC 89. The Full Federal Court had unanimously held that the common law privilege against spousal incrimination had not been abrogated by the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002.
